San Agustín, Huila, Colombia. Drawings

The nature of my country is one of the very richest. Here, you will appreciate in five drawings one of the regions of Colombia, San Agustín, located at the southern part in the department of Huila. It is the birth of the longest and most important river of Colombia, el Río Magdalena along with ríos Patía, El Cauca, El Putumayo y el Caquetá. It is our  water reservoir which gives birth to an abundant flora and fauna; as well as to an incredible diversity and richness of soil and food.
It is a pity that many of this sacred land is being actually sold to foreigners who paid a trifle, a thing of no importance to the peasants who are not well-aware of what they possess. Besides, there is no regulations or laws which will allow or not allow the purchase of our rich land by foreigners. As a local stated: "our country is for sale".
